Allison Brown, DVM, CVA, IVCCP, CVNN
I joined DHVP in July 1995 as a veterinary assistant. I earned my DVM with Honors from Ross University and became co-owner in 2012. My professional interests include ultrasonography, internal medicine, nutrition, and geriatric care. I’m also an active member of CIVT, AAVH, and AHVMA.
Rodney Jerger, DVM
I graduated with honors from Ross University in 2005. After completing a rotating internship and working at multiple veterinary practices throughout New York City, I became co-owner of DHVP in 2012. I enjoy spending time with my wife, our two children, our two dogs, and Axle the cat.

We envision a practice where every patient experiences genuine healing and every family feels truly supported. Our goal is to be the practice that generations of families trust — year after year — for compassionate care.
We're a family owned, AAHA accredited practice that has proudly served our community and generations of pet owners for over 30 years. Dr. Brown provides integrative veterinary care, while Dr. Jerger focuses on conventional medicine. Together, they are committed to delivering compassionate, personalized care for every patient.

I joined the DHVP team in 2022 as a Client Service Representative and have loved growing alongside the practice ever since. Today, as a Practice Manager, I get to do what I love most which is helping clients, our team, and of course the animals who bring us all together. I love creating a warm, welcoming environment where pets feel comfortable, clients feel heard, and the team feels like family.
Outside of DHVP, you can usually find me spending time with my loved ones, planning my next adventure, staying active, or enjoying time with my own pets, Kratos and Khaos.

I joined the DHVP team in 2023 as a Client Service Representative and quickly found a place where my love for animals and passion for helping others could come together. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally within the practice into my current role as Assistant Practice Manager.
No two days are ever quite the same, and that’s one of the things I enjoy most about my role. I love being someone my team can count on and creating a warm, welcoming experience for our clients and their pets.
When I’m not at DHVP, I enjoy spending time with my husband and family, planning my next adventure, and spoiling my two cats, Pasha and Tigger.

I joined DHVP in 2025 as a volunteer, and I loved the team and their approach so much that I knew I wanted to become part of the team full-time!I’m a licensed veterinary technician and Reiki Master, and I’m so grateful to finally have the opportunity to bring these two worlds together. After 25 years in the veterinary field, it’s incredibly rewarding to work alongside an integrative team that shares my passion for whole-patient care.
Outside of work, I love traveling, exploring new places, and experiencing everything the world has to offer. At home, I’m kept company by my Min Pin, Lenox, and my orange cat, Walter. They definitely keep life interesting!

I joined the DHVP team in 2025 as a Client Service Representative, and my role has grown from there. Today, I also work as a Veterinary Assistant and Social Media Coordinator. I’m currently in school to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician, and I love every part of what I do here, from helping families and their pets to learning new things about veterinary medicine alongside such a great team.
Outside of DHVP, I love spending time with my friends, family, and fiancé, plus a good video game every now and then. We also have four cats, Callie, Frankie, Ellie, and Teddie who keep things lively at home.

I joined the practice as a Client Service Representative in 2025 and feel incredibly grateful to be part of a team that is dedicated to providing thoughtful, compassionate care. One of my favorite parts of my role is building meaningful relationships with our clients and getting to know the people and pets who make our practice so special. Knowing that the work we do can make a genuine difference in the lives of pets and their families is what makes this career so rewarding.
Outside of the practice, I love spending time with my service dog, Lupin. He is a big part of my life and, of course, keeps me on my toes! When I’m not at work, you’ll most likely find me enjoying time with Lupin and the people I love.

I joined Dongan Hills Veterinary Practice in September 2022, bringing with me a lifelong interest and love for animals.
Ever since I was a child, caring for animals has been something close to my heart. Working here has allowed me to build meaningful relationships with both our patients and their owners, earning their trust and helping them feel safe and cared for.

I joined the DHVP team in March 2025 and have really enjoyed learning and growing alongside everyone at the practice. I have always had a strong passion and care for animals, which inspired me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I am currently finishing my degree in Biology and hope to attend veterinary school, with the goal of becoming a veterinary cardiologist. I look forward to continuing to grow my knowledge and experience alongside my team.
Outside of DHVP, I love spending time with my dog, Colby Jack, whether we’re going on family road trips or simply taking walks together. I also enjoy being outdoors and listening to music, but my favorite thing to do is make people laugh and bring a little joy to those around me.

I joined the DHVP team in 2025 as a veterinary assistant and have loved being part of such a welcoming and supportive practice. I am also currently a veterinary student at St. George’s University, with hopes of one day becoming a veterinarian as respected and dedicated as Dr. Jerger and Dr. Brown. My time at DHVP has allowed me to grow my knowledge, confidence, and hands-on skills while learning from an incredible team.
Outside of work, I enjoy painting, spending time with my pets especially my dog Beatrice, traveling, and exploring new places.
